Supplies:
Shrinky Dink Paper – 2 paws per paper
Key ring with Jump Rings
Paint
Black Fine Tip Sharpies
Hole Punch
Scissors
Mod Podge (High Gloss Clear)
Paintbrushes, 1 per color
Parchment Paper
Optional: resin
Instructions:
1.Get your supplies ready and choose your desired color of paint.
2. Paint your dog’s paw pads in the desired color, and then press down firmly on the shrink paper making sure to lift up to reduce smudging and smearing.
3. Allow paint to dry completely and write your pets name near the paw.
4. Cut out around the paw print, leaving a slight edge around the print.
5. Place a hole punch near the top about 1/4″ from the edge (this is how you will attach your keychain once shrunk).
6. Place on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and preheat your oven to 325 degree Fahrenheit.
7. Bake for 1-3 min watching for when the piece fully shrinks.
8. Flatten carefully if its still slightly curled, taking precautions to the hot product. We used a book with parchment paper on top.
9. Allow to cool completely and then apply a thin layer of gloss mod podge to seal and protect. You could also do this step with resin.
10. Allow to dry completely and attach the jump ring and keychain
11. Carry your pet everywhere with you!
