A Vet’s Take on Spay and Neuter
Join veterinarian Dr. Lisa Godfrey for an in-depth look at the "who, what, where, and why" of spaying and neutering. This class moves past the common debates to focus on the medical and behavioral implications for a pet's long-term health.
We will cover everything from the specifics of the surgical procedure and the importance of pre-surgical blood work to modern research on how the timing of the procedure affects different breeds. Whether you have a new puppy or a senior pet, this session explores how these decisions impact behavior and the management of various health conditions, providing the perspective you need to make the best choice for your pet’s unique needs.
